Write for AutosAdvise
AutosAdvise is always looking for knowledgeable contributors who can help our readers make smarter decisions about cars. If you would like to submit an automotive guest post — whether you live and breathe motoring or simply have hard-won experience worth sharing — we would love to hear from you.
We publish guest contributions from motoring journalists, industry professionals, experienced DIY mechanics, and passionate car owners. What matters most is not your job title, but the quality and usefulness of what you write.
Who Can Contribute
We welcome pitches from:
- Motoring writers and journalists with original angles on cars and the car industry.
- Mechanics, technicians, and detailing professionals who can share practical, hands-on knowledge.
- EV owners and early adopters with real-world experience of electric motoring.
- Everyday drivers with a genuinely useful buying or ownership story to tell.
Topics We Accept
Guest posts should fit one of our core coverage areas:
- Car news and industry analysis — new launches, market trends, and policy changes explained for buyers.
- Car reviews — honest, experience-based reviews of cars you have genuinely driven and lived with.
- Buying guides — practical advice on choosing between models, body styles, fuel types, and budgets.
- Maintenance and DIY — servicing guidance, troubleshooting, and care tips written in plain language.
- Electric vehicles — charging, range, ownership costs, and the realities of EV life.
Automotive Guest Post Guidelines
To keep quality high for our readers, all guest contributions must meet the following standards:
- Original content only. Your article must be written exclusively for AutosAdvise and must not have been published anywhere else, in whole or in part.
- Minimum 800 words. We want substance, not filler. Take the space you need to cover the topic properly.
- No promotional spam. Articles written purely to plug a product, service, or website will be rejected. One relevant, non-promotional link in your author bio is permitted.
- Well structured. Use clear headings, short paragraphs, and lists where they help readability. Write in plain, reader-friendly English.
- Images. Include at least one high-quality image you own the rights to (your own photos are ideal), at least 1200px wide. Please confirm you have the right to let us publish any images you supply.
- Accuracy matters. Check your facts, figures, and specifications. We may edit for clarity, grammar, and house style before publication.
How to Pitch
Please do not send finished articles out of the blue. Instead, email your pitch to autosadvise@gmail.com with:
- Your proposed topic or working title.
- A short outline of what the article will cover (a few bullet points is fine).
- A line or two about who you are and why you are well placed to write it.
If your pitch is a good fit, we will reply with next steps and a publication timeline. Please allow up to two weeks for a response.
